Ruskin Park: Fine South Dakota Pheasant Hunting

Welcome to Ruskin Park

Jack and Don Schneiders from Missouri, family and friends on Opening Day 2006

Come join us at historic Ruskin Park for South Dakota pheasant hunting at its finest. We can offer you over 4000 acres of pheasant food plots, sloughs, cornfields, and CRP acres. Stay in our comfortable lodge with individual bedrooms, pool and ping pong tables, cable TV, and laundry facilities.

Your stay will include full breakfast and dinner through the end of November. A noon lunch will be provided for the entire season, either in the field or at our hunting headquarters. A refrigerator will be available for your use.

All hunts are guided. Our guides have dogs, and your dogs are welcome too.

We are located along the banks of the James River near Forestburg, SD. The lodge is 25 miles north of Mitchell, SD--home of the World's Only Corn Palace and Cabela's Specialty Stores--on Highway 34/37. We are approximately 90 miles northwest of Sioux Falls.

South Dakota pheasant hunting licenses are available right here in Sanborn County, online, or anywhere in South Dakota.

Clarke and Dyxie Pauly (on the right) came from Alabama with friends to hunt with us. Their Golden Retrievers are among the finest dogs we have seen. Visit them at Kelly Run Farm and learn more about their dogs and the Kelly Run Farm Boarding Kennel.
